Sitater

... And they let you read too many books. It can't be good for a young brain, knowing words like paradigm and eschatological. It leads to behaviour such as using your own brother as monster bait.
 The Wee Free Men

The only hat worth wearing was the one you made for yourself, not one you bought, not one you were given. Your own hat, for your own head. Your own future, not someone else's.
A Hat Full of Sky

People wanted the world to be a story, because stories had to sound right and they had to make sense. People wanted the world to make sense.
Well, her story wasn't going to be the story about a little girl who was pushed around.
Wintersmith

These times are not necessarily good, and not necessarily bad. In fact, what they are depends on what we are.
I Shall Wear Midnight

We pride ourselves  on making a good story of our lives, a good story to be told.
I Shall Wear Midnight

There was no light, no point of reference except for the two tiny blue pinpricks sparkling in the eye sockets of Death himself.
"Well, the journey was worth taking and I saw many wonderful things on the way, including you, my reliable friend. Shall we go now?
MADAM, WE'VE ALREADY GONE.
